SYDNEY: According to AFP reports, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was Wednesday awarded the SydneyPeace Foundation’s top honour for “exceptional courage in pursuit of human rights”, joining the likes of Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.
